Vorige Woche, 1.10., fand die ReMIX im Wiener Hilton Hotel statt. Gut 300 Web-Entwickler, Web-Designer und Software Architects konnten wir begrüßen. Wir freuen uns über das gute Feedback zum Event und werden die Veranstaltung nächstes Jahr weiter ausbauen.

Die PROGIS Session zum Thema "Bing Maps für Unternehmen" im Rahmen der Remix09 behandelte neben der Vorstellung der GIS-Software "WinGIS 2009" und der Integration von "Bing Maps" als Modul, auch die Anbindung dieses Systems an eine Applikation über das ActiveX-Control "AXWinGIS". Diese Lösung soll vor allem jene Anwendungsentwickler ansprechen, die nach einer einfachen und kostengünstigen Möglichkeit suchen, ihre Applikation um eine geografische Komponente mit Bing Maps inklusive umfangreicher GIS-Funktionalitäten, zu erweitern.
